Guided Reading is the heart of a balanced literacy approach and yet is often the component that is least understood. It can increase reading success and accelerate reading growth when instruction is diagnostic, effective and efficient. Teachers will be actively involved in fine tuning their use of this wonderfully powerful reading process!!
